Im back!

I've been bad. This last week I was a bad girl. I was housesitting for my brother and I slipped just a tad not too bad but enough that I feel guilty. I did manage to keep to my diet soda but I bought regular chips to have with my sandwiches and I snacked on them as well. When I made my chicken I had mashed potatoes with it once and one night I had some mac and cheese. I was bad but now I am over it and back on my path. Still working out and still working.

Whew!

So today was an ok day. For breakfast I ate just a bowl of corn chex cereal then due to bein called in for work all I had for lunch was a bottle of propel water, which BTW in not healthy. It is never a good idead to skip a meal especially breakfast. It really is the most important meal of the day. No joke eating breakfast in the morning jumpstarts your metabolism for the day. So even if all you can get is a granola bar eat it. Jump start that metabolism. Then after workin by the time I got home I was way too tired to cook anything luckily the fam had eatin Long Johns and there was chicken and fish left. Now we all know that Long Johns is not the healthiest thing in the world to eat but what I did to accomodate was I took as much breading as I could and at just one piece of fish and one of chicken, bypassing those delicious hushpuppies. When I think about something that I want to eat that I really shouldnt I think about the goals I have. I think "Do I really need that hushpuppy?" or "Do I need a extra handful of chips?" The answer is no, yes it will taste good but once you eat it its gone and in my case goes straight to my ass. I have been doing every diet known to man since I was 12 years old, the key to dieting is give yourself one day. One day a week where you can have that burger with fries. One day a week where you can relax no work out and have that one meal (dessert included) that you have denied yourself all week. I promise you that one day makes it so much easier.

Now to really start the work out portion. I am all signed up and ready to go for a gym that I love alot. Now keep in mind that for me to admit that I love a gym then it has to be a pretty good one. The great thing about my gym is that the classes that they have a fun and free to any member. Working out can be tedious and boring, find a way to make it fun. Thats all for today. More next time.

312 lbs.

This is me, all 312 pounds of me. You can see that I am smiling but not really. So I decided to start on a quest to a better healthier body that will have me smiling for real. I began this journey on Sept 7, 2009 with a goal of losing 10 pounds a month and getting in shape and toned. Today is Oct 2, 2009 and I weigh 302. I met my goal for the month of September and it wasn't so easy. I pretty much had to relearn how to eat and to get moving around again. The ultimate goal is to reach 170. I will be in shape and healthy and most of all I will be happy. Ultimately once this goal is reached I plan to join the US Army and serve as a Medic. Throughout this blog I will keep you updated with news and pictures. Below is my list of goals I have set for myself.

1. Max weight of 170

2. Run 1 1/2 in 13 minutes

3. Start rock climbing again

4. Ballroom dancing lessons

5. Wear a size 12 jeans

More goals may come up and when they do they will be added here.

The thin woman inside me is dying to get out, I am not shutting the bitch up with chocolate anymore!
